PinFetch

How to download Pinterest videos

Grab Pinterest video pins as ready-to-play MP4 files, on your phone or computer, in a few taps.

Step by step

  1. Open the video pin on Pinterest.
  2. Tap ShareCopy link, or copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
  3. Paste it into the downloader on our homepage and press the download button.
  4. When the video is detected, choose a quality and save the MP4.

What quality can I expect?

Pinterest publishes videos in a few bitrates. When a direct MP4 file is available, PinFetch lists the resolutions it finds — typically something like 720p and 480p — with the best quality first. The file downloads through our server with a clean .mp4 name so it plays anywhere without extra steps.

A note on streaming-only videos

Some Pinterest videos are served only as an adaptive HLS stream (a playlist of small .m3u8 segments) rather than a single MP4. Turning those back into one file requires video muxing (ffmpeg), which this tool intentionally does not do in version 1. When that happens we'll tell you clearly and still show the preview, rather than handing you a file that won't play. Most standard video pins do provide a direct MP4.

On mobile

The process is the same in the Pinterest app: use the share arrow, copy the link, open your browser and paste it here. Saved videos land in your Downloads folder on Android, or Downloads (then optionally Photos) on iPhone.

Use responsibly

Videos belong to the people who made them. Download for personal, offline viewing only, and don't re-upload or monetise someone else's work without permission. Our disclaimer explains this in full.
